Above all musical, as 2/3 of broadcast time is composed of "easy listening" mood music and classical with an emphasis on the history of composers and the history of classical music. Half of broadcast time is dedicated to French and foreign variety music and with a special input from the Francophone Christian song writers and composers, mainly Protestant, which we call "French Gospel" which is in full expansion. We also have French variety songs of yesterday and today as well as some international favorites.
Cultural, to make the morality and Christian message of the Bible known (it is after all the very fabric of our Judeo Christian society), and it provides daily input for the faith of Christian Community in the area. The interdenominational point of view is designed to break down barriers between the different parts of the Christian Community in the region that in the interest of unity within the community within the spirit of the Christian message. Pastors of various parts of the Southwest France Christian communities belongining to the Protestant Federation of France are in touch on a daily and weekly basis. Speakers from the Catholic and Orthodox communities also contribute on a regular basis. The radio microphone is available to interviews from the many aspects of the Christian community within the Soutwest region.
Optomistic: in a society in crisis, the spirit is one of optimism designed to defeat depression and despair, sources of exclusion, through the message of the gospel: the love of one's neighbour and Hope.
Social, in partnership with humanitarian organisations and associations in the region, as well as with local authorities: localised news items to make the diverse cultural, artistic, and social activities known through their various activities and interviews, a wider perspective of the SOUTHWEST from North to South.
Educational: in partnership with the Envirnomental protection agencies and the Health authorities of the region: Health Education, as in physical health and disease prevention, wildlife and nature protection.
The Radio Bonne Nouvelle FORMAT is therefore mostly musical (2/3), providing warm and positive programming intermixed with the message of hope from the gospel, to an audience of young adults and adults. This is interspersed with information about the region and regional identity.
